Will the watermark ruin my video's visual quality?
Not at all. The VideoSeal neural network embeds watermarks at a mathematically imperceptible level. Your native resolution, frame rate, and color space remain completely untouched. To the human eye, it's invisible.
Does the watermark survive YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok compression?
Yes, that's its superpower. VideoSeal is built specifically to survive standard social media pipelines, including heavy H.264/HEVC compression, scaling, and re-encoding.
What happens if a platform strips my file's metadata?
That is exactly why we use double-layered provenance. If a platform strips the C2PA file metadata, the VideoSeal watermark remains embedded in the pixels. Drop the stripped file back into Reconize, and the app will extract the pixel ID and cross-reference your local registry to prove you're the creator.
Do I need a cloud account or subscription to sign?
